How to Use Mail Chimp (autoresponder): Marketing

How to Use Mail Chimp (autoresponder)

MailChimp-LogoMail Chimp has been around for several years, and I have heard about it on several occasions, but have never tried it before. I was impressed by the getting started videos, which are simple yet informative…probably better than those in the other services. It is unique among the major autoresponders in that it has a free option. If you have a maximum of 2,000 subscribers you can send out up to 12,000 emails per month for free. After that the charges are in line with the others.

In this video I create an opt-in form with Mail Chimp and try to embed it on the same squeeze page that I used in the video on how to set up a squeeze page. It doesn’t work out, so I then work out a way to add it to the page by tweaking the HTML. Since I am not an expert in HTML I believe that I was able to show what I did in a way that a beginner would understand it, so this video has a bit of HTML instruction as well as instruction in how to create an opt-in box with Mail Chimp.
