A big problem for many who work alone is maintaining focus. There are so many distractions that it is sometimes hard to keep your mind on your work. And no boss to remind you to get back to your desk…
The purpose of FocusMate.com is to give you an accountability partner. Someone you can work alongside. Just having someone else involved goes a long way to keep us on track and away from the refrigerator.
The concept is simple. The day is divided into 24 hour sessions. Each is 50 minutes long with a 10 minute break at the end. You schedule as many as you want, and are paired up with a Focus Mate who wants a session at the same time.
