Google Plus: How to create and conduct a hangout
There are 3 types of hangouts:
- Chat: You communicate with another person or people via chat (no video involved)
- Private hangout (also called video party): You and up to 9 other people communicate with video and audio but it is kept private.
- Hangout on Air: You and up to 9 other people communicate with video and audio. In addition you can have an unlimited audience. The hangout is broadcast on your Youtube channel and the video recording is automatically made available there. You can have the video remain public or make it unlisted or private.
