Hey, does anyone have an illustrator they use for picture ads (for Facebook) they can refer? Or a website that’s better than up work, that has good talent?

Hey guys, could someone give me advice on how to know your target group properly. What questions should I ask myself to know my audience better and how do I find answers to these questions from my target group?

Hi Islam: One thing you should do is go through the (free) Pint of Beer Ad Challenge. It will help you figure out who your market is and nail down what you can do for them. To sign up just go to https://simplewritingsystem.com/

It looks like you took the Pint of Beer Challenge.
What questions do you still have about understanding who is in your market?

Hi, Islam,
If you strive to know them 2 or 3 times as well as you think you need to, you can’t go wrong and will have a huge advantage over your competition.
Get to know them by reading about them, talking to them, talking to those who talk to them and know them.
Don’t be too analytical about it. Get to know them like you would someone you’re in…Read more

Hey, quick question (online marketing).
What email software do you currently use or you’re aware of for the best deliverability rate? And easy segmentations.
Please let me know, deciding on one within next 2 days. Thank you.

Hi Raiyan, If we gathered with the top 5 email experts I know, we’d get 4 different opinions on what one service is “best”.
If you go with a low-priced or free option, you’re in with the amateurs and spammers. And your deliverability will reflect that.
If you go with a service that makes you pay and has several hoops you must jump through to…Read more

John Carlton’s Best Ads: What Women Secretly Wish You Knew About Sex
I struggled for years to get Rodale to use personalization in a letter. My other clients found that personalizing a letter boosted response by as much as 30% -- a very significant increase to the bottom line. Working with large mailers, you are pitted against...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: The Only Sex Book You’ll Ever Admit To Buying
You have to imagine what was going on in Rodale's collective head at the time. This is a very conservative, east-Pennsylvania-based publisher -- one of the largest mailers in the world. But their main fare are books on gardening, health, folk recipes, stuff like that....
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Hot Off The Lot
This is an ancient manuscript for an ad I wrote maybe 15 years ago. If you know anything about me personally, you know I'm the worst sort of pack-rat there is. I have dozens of banker's boxes in the garage stuffed with files, notes, ads and what-not--some of it going...
When I’m looking for a new graphics artist, I post a small slice of the job on Fiverr and/or UpWork and hire 3-4 people. Knowing I’m going to toss out some of the work I paid for.
That extra cost is well worth the time it would take to try to more carefully interview and evaluate someone before hiring them. I want to see what they do. Not samples…Read more
For graphics-related projects, you might also give 99designs.com a try, which is more design-focused.
Stan’s suggestion is excellent, by the way — do that no matter what!
