Any good resources for market research? I’m buying dental practices and would like to find a resource to do market data per location. But data that’s actually useful for messaging! Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello, my name is Marcus, I’m a new member here.
I mostly run FB and YT ads, right now for lead gen, but could definitely use some more guidance and feedback when it comes to writing FB ad copy and YT ad scripts. Always looking to improve.

Hi Marcus: I would go through the (free) Pint of Beer Ad challenge. This will show you how to create a simple but effective sales letter using John’s methods. Just click on the Simple Writing System banner in the right column to get started with that. Again, it is a free course.
Also, since you are in David’s Inner Circle, I would definitely…Read more

Hi.
Good afternoon.
I need assistance from the great minds in the club house.
I’m working with this client for the very first time, she’s a business and mindset coach.
I’ve enrolled in one of her courses before which was indeed helpful, but this is the first time she’s hired me to write for her.
She’s setting up an interview between i…Read more-
For the interview, I would just ask them how the program has helped them. Then, when they answer, ask additional questions to get more clarity. The same for what they want from her to continue to help them.
I think the key to this is to contact the participants in advance and tell them that these are going to be the questions. That way they…Read more

Hi Manny,
My first advice is to head over to the right side of this page and apply for a hot seat. John and I pick one MRIC customer a month and do a coaching session with time. I think yours is a good topic for everyone, no matter what they are marketing.
We’re recording the October MRIC Hot Seat this week. But November is open. I can…Read more

Thanks a lot Virginia, and of course Stan.
I will see to the hot seat, I think it would help me understand this niche more. The first two weeks of the month is fine by me -
Manny: If you want to do a hot seat, go to the right column and click on the link that says “Click here to request your own personal hot seat”. Under “Hot Seats and Consulting”.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Fundamentals
Like many things about online marketing, the SEO rules and best practices never stop changing. For good reasons. An ever-growing army of people invest countless hours trying to get their pages (or clients' pages) at the top of search engine results. Some care if they...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Slash Strokes… Without Even Trying!
Here, I confronted a major objection in the reader's mind right off the bat: Everyone on the house list for this client had recently been hammered with piece after piece... and the list was fatiguing. So I took a more clever path to their heart (and...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Who Else Wants To Earn An Extra $96,485?
Here is a version of another ad I talk about in "Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets". The client is a "coach"-- a consultant who helps doctors get their act together. Which, for most health care professionals, means reducing stress and work hours, while increasing...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Absolutely Confidential
Staying on top of the martial arts market is no walk in the park. It's not like baseball, where the rules and skills required stay pretty much the same for decades. Fighting skills change dramatically and constantly, as last year's "big thing" is picked apart and...
Hi Joey,
I know enough about dental practices to know established practices tend to attract people from certain demographics. A byproduct of how the practice developed over time.
For example, if the practice in the insurance plan of a massive employer and convenient to the office or plant, you might not need to market outside of that group to…Read more
Hi Joey:
I see that you replied by email to Stan’s comment. I am posting it here so everyone can see it.
Thank you Stan.
I agree with all of your points!
My only disadvantage currently is that the practices I have purchased are prehistoric, no digital, no website, no ads, no “list”.
So, I will need to do a lot of work!
I think reg…Read more

You quickly corrected the first point I was going to make. If there are name, addresses, and phone number on 3×5 cards, there is a list. Step #1 is to scan all of that into a spreadsheet or simple customer database.
If you can possibly get each per…Read more
