Hey Gang!
I’m Jason from NYC. Turning 50 in a few months and instead of hating my reflection for yet another year, still a slave to my corporate overlords without me taking the action necessary to create the life I’ve always desired, I’ve decided a career change is imperative, and copywriting is the vehicle to get me there. I always knew that…Read more

Hello, I’m new to copy writing and I’ve been trying to learn it to help me with my email marketing as well as copy for selling my course. (salespages and facebook ads). That’s what I want to learn here and lots more!!!

Hi Ayebanoa: Welcome to the Kick Ass Copywriting Secrets of a Marketing Rebel. That is a great place to get started!

Thank you, I’ve started on it. Trying to apply it bit by bit.

You shouldn’t be selling a course unless you have generated a client/cliebts at least 5 million dollars in sales. It looks sleazy. Sorry for being blunt

@joseph309 I don’t think Avebanoa is trying to sell a copywriting course.
-
@virginia @joseph309 No I’m not. My course is on e-book creation. The first time I released it, it was at a ridiculously low price. I then proceeded to update the course and increase the price. Since then I haven’t had any sales.
I have a list of leads interested in learning how to create e-books but some how I haven’t been able to convert any.…Read more

How many sales have you had selling ebooks yourself? Ive seen way too many people get scammed by these courses. It’s sleazy as hell, and it’s a bad stain on the industry.

I teach them how to create and design visually attractive e-books, not how to sell or market like I’ve explained before. The design process.
I don’t sell ebooks currently, I’m not also teaching them how to sell.
I’ve gone niche to target writers and small business owners who want to create and design their ebooks themselves but aren’t sure…Read more

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Fundamentals
Like many things about online marketing, the SEO rules and best practices never stop changing. For good reasons. An ever-growing army of people invest countless hours trying to get their pages (or clients' pages) at the top of search engine results. Some care if they...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Slash Strokes… Without Even Trying!
Here, I confronted a major objection in the reader's mind right off the bat: Everyone on the house list for this client had recently been hammered with piece after piece... and the list was fatiguing. So I took a more clever path to their heart (and...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Who Else Wants To Earn An Extra $96,485?
Here is a version of another ad I talk about in "Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets". The client is a "coach"-- a consultant who helps doctors get their act together. Which, for most health care professionals, means reducing stress and work hours, while increasing...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Absolutely Confidential
Staying on top of the martial arts market is no walk in the park. It's not like baseball, where the rules and skills required stay pretty much the same for decades. Fighting skills change dramatically and constantly, as last year's "big thing" is picked apart and...
Welcome Shaifali!
One thing you could do to promote a course for affiliate marketing is to create YouTube videos that answer questions that they have. YouTube videos are relatively easy to rank on both YouTube and Google so you can get some free traffic from them.
If you can’t think of questions to answer, just go to YouTube and search for…Read more
