Question for anyone who has sold a paper back or hard cover book on their own platform: My current plan was to publish a book through Amazon to sell on click funnels using a FREE plus shipping offer. However, i don’t know the exact app to use for the integration which would allow me to do this (with Amazon doing the shipping.)
If you have…Read more

Hey I’m kind of struggling a bit here. So my client is a life coach, and she has her own book which could be classed as a self-help book, I’m not going to fully get into the specifics of her product.
Currently, we are giving away the book for $1 front-end.
I’ve made a sales page for it and now will be writing the ads, but I think I’m…Read more

If you’ve studied winning ads like John Carton’s Best Ads (https://marketingrebel.com/john-carlton-best-ads/) or ads written by Halbert, Sugarman, and even some of David Deutsch’s advertorials, I’m sure you’…Read more

There different types and formats of FB ads. With what you’ve provided, any specific input on what you should do is shooting in the dark.
To avoid overthinking, it’s hard to go wrong with “just sell the damn thing.”
Don’t try to sell the product in the FB ad. Sell the click. Clicking should solve a problem or resolve a curiosity of your target…Read more

If you are doing FB ads, make sure you are familiar with the FB rules, because some of them are a bit weird.
For example, they want to make sure that their users have a “good experience”, so saying things that could make them uncomfortable, which applies to a lot of DM, could get your account suspended.

Hi guys,
I’m recently learning some more about the USP, Big Idea and Big Promise, and how they all link.
After going through SWS, it seemed all clear, but now as I learn more I think I’m overcomplicating it and confusing things up.
So I have a couple questions.
1) Does every product have it’s own USP?
So let’s say someone is selling…Read more

Yes, I think you’re overcomplicating (and overthinking) it.
Products under a single brand may need their own USP if they’re different enough. Play around with it and see. Study stuff in APPLICATION (even imaginary application) not so much in theory.
And yes, USP, big idea, big promise, etc. are all interlinked.
Don’t let that throw you.
It…Read more

Hi David,
Thanks for your response.
So after my message I went away to read and watch videos to clear my mind a bit and I believe it’s making a lot more sense now.
Admittedly I wasn’t think enough about it.
After looking back at the olive oil ad and hand writing it, I can see how there’s a deep core message that gets reinforced in every part…Read more

I think about what will grab and hold the reader or listener’s attention, something that has newness, emotional power, and maybe some shockingness to it.
When I find it, that’s the big idea.
Keep digging like you have been. Keep reverse engineering ads and promotions to uncover the big idea, keep trying to create big ideas, and you won’t…Read more

John Carlton’s Best Ads: A Really Long Letter To Every Bodybuilder Who Secretly Believes The Fat Cats Are Ripping Him Off
Here is that notoriously-long letter I wrote to the bodybuilding market a few years back. It's a trimmed-down version of the 23-page letter that originally went out -Â we condensed a bunch of the charts and whittled the thing down to a nice and tidy 16 pages....
John Carlton’s Best Ads: The 17th Version

How to Create an “Add to Calendar” Link For Your Events
One of the biggest hurdles in putting on an online event is getting people to actually show up. So you need to make it as easy as possible for them. One way is to include a link in your reminder emails that will allow them to add the event to their calendar......

Raiyan,
It sounds like you are making one of the most common mistakes newer marketers make:
** Complicating the shit out of something before you have any idea if it will make any money. **
This is more of a Welcome To The Club than a criticism.
Whatever your offer you are putting behind this book (Free + Shipping or whatever) —
When it is…Read more
