Hi Stan.
It would be extremely helpful for myself, and others of the MRIC members if you could answer these questions.
It’s a two-part question.
What exactly needs to be on both on a home page and an about page?
And is there any kind of formula we should use for both pages?
Thank you!

Hi everyone, I’m Avinash, I’m 19 years old.
It’s been about a month since I started learning copywriting, hand copying ads, and reading books and courses on copywriting.
There’s one thing I hear often.
Don’t charge 25k-30k straight up as a new copywriter

Don’t charge too less as a copywriter even if you are a…Read more-

When you are ready to start reaching out to businesses, you should follow the advice that Stan gave Sean Van Zant (not too far down this page):
Show me what you can do. I want to see what you’ve written.
If you haven’t written much, that’s fine. We hire newbies sometimes. Show me who you’ve studied. Go to ClickBank, pick a few products, and wri…Read more

Find your UVP (the one that is the most unique and intriguing). And write it as intriguing as possible. It’s also going to be your elevator pitch.
Then position yourself based upon your UVP as the ultimate and only solution to your client’s most urgent problem.
Then provide proof for each benefits you state.
Be creative in making your offer a…Read more

One thing you can do is pick a niche that you want to serve and become THE email marketer for that niche. That way you can stand above those who generalize.
There is a clip from an Action Seminar here where Harlan Kilstein addresses this: https://1023.marketingrebelclub.com/blog/target-your-copywriting-services/

That’s a fairly good start for a website.
You need to make sure your prospects get the best UX when they first visit your site. As a person that studied web design, your site needs a lot of work.
There’s too much white space, and the content (text, video, and images) need to be organized.
I would say to find a web designer off of fiverr to…Read more

Easily Spy on Your Competition’s Facebook Ads

How to Create a Facebook Instant Experience Ad

Home Page: What job do you want the home page to do? Is it the point of entry you want prospects to land on first?
For example, we never try to drive anyone to the MarketingRebel.com home page. So it’s trying to get you to click to something else. What does your homepage do?
Hi Sean: For your about page you should tell people who you are and why you are the best person to solve their problems. The more personal it is, the better.
Thank you Stan and Virginia!
One more tip for your About Page — Have a Call To Action at the bottom. If they like what they just read, make it just that easy for them to click, sign up, call, or whatever it is you want them to do next.
The bottom of the About page is one of the most underutilized places on the internet.
