Whaddup Rebels!
As I’m listening to the latest episode of PI4MM during my heavy squat workout, Kevin drops a hook and says “This is JUST the first point… imagine how good you’ll be after learning the other 17?!” – so voilá! – that’s how I arrived. 🙂

Hello everyone from the land “down under”!
I’m so looking forward to the coaching class with John. It took me 2 sleepless nights and Kevin Roger’s Q&A video to blow me over the fence.
I’m a rookie copywriter trying to gain the chops (and confidence) to make it in the freelance world. Been learning on the side while holding down a rather cushy,…Read more

We’re in the same boat (minus the cushy job for me haha). Should be fun! -

Hi, Rebels!
I’m pumped to get started in the SWS class with John.
I signed up for the coaching class on Thursday and then got made redundant at work the very next day. So I guess you could say my biggest challenge right now is getting clients.
I’ve been copywriting on the side for a little over a year now so looking forward to making…Read more

Hey Marketing Rebels,
Any other rookies in the clubhouse? Say ‘hey’ below!
My name is Chris Jacobie and I’m excited to be joining y’all for the SWS with John Carlton! I’ve never scribbled a word of copy in my life but I have recently become completely enthralled by the direct response marketing world. For a few months I’ve been spending every…Read more

How to match a font
There are thousands of different fonts out there. If you see one you like on a website, sales letter, or even a PDF or Word doc, it is almost impossible to even narrow down the choices to determine what it might be. One site that I have found to be a great first step...
Make your writing error-free (spelling and grammar) with Grammarly
Sometimes it seems that it is a "macho" thing to do...to not care about the grammar and spelling when someone (not you, I'm sure) writes a blog post, email....even a paperback book. The attitude is that if the reader takes affront...well... it is the reader's problem,...
Don’t do this on Facebook…
For several years now, Facebook has been a great source of free traffic for websites. Of course, marketers have taken full...and in some cases, excessive...advantage of this. There has been more and more abuse in recent years, especially by websites that are in...
A wacky excuse to contact your prospects (or clients)
Anyone who uses content to keep in touch with customers and prospects occasionally (or maybe more often) hits a dry period where they can't think of new and interesting content to use engage their audience. Here is an idea that, with a little imagination, could be the...
