Hello,
I’m looking for any swipe files on health… I’m supposed to write an editorial about diabetes and can’t find anything to rip-off:) Anybody knows any good editorials on health? (I found out I’m ill, my world came down crashing, I tried everything but it didn’t work, then I found your product and my life instantly changed forever -

Hi,
My name is Dima. I’ve just joined. And I glad to be part of that awesome group.
I struggle with one thing – and I hope The Clubhouse can help me with that.
Thing is…
I started a business of providing leads from Russia to a dental clinic in Poland.
Prices in Poland are similar or a little higher than in Russia, but quality of service…Read more

Hi Dima: The first thing I would say is to concentrate on one market at a time. Start with people from Russia to Poland, figure it out with them, then you can use that knowledge to go into other markets.
There are similar services in the US that send people to Thailand (and possibly other places in Southeast Asia) for surgery. I think it is…Read more

I did a search for “medical vacations” and posted the results here:
https://1023.marketingrebelclub.com/medical-tourism/. These are all organic results, not paid ads.I think the correct term is “medical tourism”
I did it using both Yahoo and Google. The info on this page was just copied/pasted from the results page so the formatting is kind…Read more

Hi, Virginia!
I wanted to say… wow! I’ve got a lot more than I though I would get. Thank you for that!
I found some golden gems here.
For now my action plan will be like this:
1) Finish my sales letter, put it on a website (call to action: leave your information and we will call you). Then I will send some traffic here: through Adwords and…Read more-
That sounds like a plan. One thing you can do with the links…remember that those companies are ranking high in organic search. See how they have built out their sites and what type of information they have that may have helped their ranking.

I’m wondering if anyone could take a look at the first draft of diabetes program – it’s an atrocity but I need to know if I’m going in the right direction.
Maybe there are diabetics here who could give their opinion? Anything would help-
Hi Jan: You didn’t post the page, or any link to it.

Hi Virginia,
Thanks for response – I just have it in file. I don’t know if I will mange to publish it on my site today. Is it possible to post pdf here?
-
-
It looks like you can’t post a pdf. You have to wait and post a link. When you do that, delete this thread and create a new one. Thanks

thank you – will do….

Hello Virginia,John & Stan,
Just saw the email for John’s new SWS 2.0
Sounds great! While I took the DIY version of SWS I’d love to involve myself in this one with John as Coach but unfortunately won’t be able to this time.
Wondering, though, if the new 2.0 CD/DVDs will be available to purchase again as a DIY without the added personal…Read more-
We’ll be launching the DIY version of SWS 2.0 within a month.
You’ll watch the videos in a special section of this site.
We’ll still be shipping a workbook because we believe (and customer feed back tells us) people get more out of the program when they have somewhere to hand write notes and exercises they will save and go back to.

Great Stan!
So there won’t be a way to buy hard copies of the Disks as I did for the original SWS?
That’s okay… Maybe you’ll print some off later.
Thanks! Curious to see what changes John makes as first SWS was awesome!
Have a great weekend!
Larry E-
The core of the course is the same. You’ll recognize most if it. We focused on tightening it up. Better video and sound quality. We’re using the Q&A and exercises from the best of thousands of students instead of a handful in the room. Even if you don’t go for the personal coaching option, you’ll have access to more material and examples…Read more

Sounds great…I’m excited!
Thanks Stan.

I think this is the first time I have recommended anything not on this site, but I am doing so now. I took the Simple Writing System in October, 2010. My coach was Robert Gibson. He continues as a SWS coach and has taught 2 sessions since then. Unless you are a SWS student (or have access to the first 2 Action Seminar videos) you may not have…Read more

Heard that podcast…it’s remarkable. I was fortunate enough to have Robert as my mentor the first time around SWS. His take on a number of topics in that podcast really made me go, “Wait a minute…what did he say?” (punching the rewind button). The point he made about not worrying about folks not believing your pitch was a real baseball bat…Read more

What you are describing sounds like a sales letter, not an editorial. An editorial is usually written by an editor of a newspaper or magazine and offers his/her opinion about something.
Could you be a bit more specific about what it is you want to write?
Sorry for not being specific….
It’s supposed to be an ad made to look like an article describing someone’s experience with the product. (for example experiences of the guy, who travels around the wolrld but has terrible problems with his knees. Then he stumbles upon the super-knee-support somehwere in France and it solves his problem). I want…Read more
You should start with an actual person. Someone who has used the product and it has helped him. If you know of advertorials already that are successful in Britain, you can take the structure that they follow (use them as swipes) and tailor them to your specific product and the experience of the person you are highlighting.
I don’t know the laws…Read more
Thank you for helping me out Virginia.
“to start, is to find a successful ad or two (you can tell they are successful if they continue to run them) and use them as swipes.”
This is precisely what I’m looking for. I don’t know about any advertorial that actually works. The company that I try to write it for has a few, none of them even breaks…Read more
You said “in every Daily Mail or Mirror paper (in UK) you have a few of those … ” . One thing you should be doing is watching them to see if they repeat. I’m sure those newspapers are fairly expensive, because they are well-known. Have you seen any that run more than once in either of those papers?
Good advise. I got into it only a few days ago and didn’t really have the time to track anything. It’s a bit of a “rush” job to be honest. My biggest concern is: how many guys use the same technique as people I’m writing it for? They keep on publishing ads that DON’T even break even to get addresses and make money at the back end with different…Read more
Losing money on the first sale and not turning a
profit unto back end sales is a VERY successful
business model. Don’t be so quick to set that aside.

Thank you for your tips. It’s a bit difficult to get anything out of them, but will try (they said: whatever you’ll come up with, we’ll match a testimonial to it which is a bit back-to-the front for me). Try telling them that testimonials are a great way for you to come up with ideas and the exact language paying customers use when they talk about the product.
They don’t have to give you the people’s names (if they are worried about that).
Hi Jan: I may be being overly cautious, but if they are unwilling to give you any testimonials I see that as a red flag. Just make sure you do your due diligence and assure yourself of the quality and effectiveness of the product.
Hi Jan: I would also explain that people love stories and that a good human-interest story is a very powerful sales tool. You can also show them other ads that have stories. Maybe they just need educating.
@Stan
Thank again – I will get back to them this week and ask for testimonials. I don’t know why it seems to be a problem to be honest
@Virginia
I have the same concern. I will make sure I won’t write anything unethical. For now, I found some real diabetes recovery stories online and tried to write based on that. But I wouldn’t let anything…Read more
From what I gather, front end profits aren’t the intention, is that correct?
I don’t know if it’s not their intention, or they simply didn’t come up with the appeal that sells…. All I know, that I’m not writing anything with intention not to sell. It seems like it’s not so easy to get accepted by UK papers if you’re in direct marketing. They mentioned some ethical commissions hunting them… and write in rather vague…Read more
