Hi guys, super stoked to be here!
I wanted to ask you what you think could be a good approach to take for a product launch. the product will be silver jewels and I would like to hear some different opinions.I thought that getting people to subscribe on my list to build up some value and then hit them with the offer would be good but I’m not…Read more

Hey guys, so I have a quick question…
Do you guys have any swipes of landing pages to book calls that’s converts pretty well?
If you do, that would be great and it would really help me on this project I’m working on.

Hi Reginald,
There are a lot of variables, including what you do and why anyone would want to call you. I’ll give you some guidelines that have proven to work.
Make the design simple. Not a lot of colors or distractions. Make sure it’s easy to read and navigate on a phone. Find a page you like and model that.
Make sure I know why I should…Read more

Omgoodness, you have no idea how helpful this is to me. It totally took the proverbial weight off my shoulder and made writing the copy 10x easier.
So thank you so much.
Now you did say, find a page you like and model it. Yet I’m having a hardtime finding a page I like.
Do you have any in mind? Or better yet, is there a structure I can follow t…Read more

You’re making this harder than it needs to be.
Think of an industry that books calls to close clients?
Accountants? Lawyer?
Go to Google and type: Best [accountant] is [city, state]
Skip all of the directory pages, unless they have links to the business site.
Look at the Book A Call page on 6 websites.
Pick the one you like the best.…Read more

Hi there, Happy Holidays, first of all.
Are you a Ninja when it comes down to writing Hooks? Then please help 😉
Perhaps you know this by own experience, but ‘Hooks’ are tough, right? It was the point I struggled with the most during my recently-completed SWS course, and although am still practising and reading about them…

I’m doing copywriting for service and B2B firms in my country (Chile) and I’ve learned a couple of things:
It seems that in B2B and digital environments, people demand relevance. I’ve had success with promotions that establish a clear and specific business benefit from using the product or service.
For example, one of my most successful…Read more

Hola Guillermo,
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.
I found this very insightful >> “Your X procedure in 6-10 months”. It turns around common knowledge (12-18 months to achieve X) and it’s pretty straight forward for B2B, people who do not want to read “hypey” stuff – they just want the benefits to be described.
No wonder why…Read more

Thanks Ricardo!
I discovered something interesting by looking at my promotion more closely …
I think what got the B2B prospects “hooked” was that we were claiming something seemingly impossible.
The common knowledge about “procedure X” (which is related to the sale of an educational building) states that it is a hard, long and painful…Read more

Thanks Guillermo, so what you essentially did is you destroyed common knowledge, an industry-wide perception about X process, flipped it around and hence the great performance. Is that the outrageousness you are talking about?
Outrageous in the sense of “Really? How?” rather than far fetched?

Hi Maren. Welcome.
Unless you have reason to believe you have a story to tell that is so captivating from the first few seconds that people can’t walk away without hearing what comes next…
Always start by telling me what you can do for me.
What problem can you solve? Why should I read the next line? I’ve got a dozen other unopened email. Why…Read more

@virginia I have not, but beacuause John talks a lot about swipe files, and templates, and not starting from zero when writing, I thought they probably have some type of a template for writing the posts and emails that convert. Any suggestions?

You need to give some more information. What do you mean by silver jewels? Is it jewelry? I looked it up and it looks like silver charms. Do you have a business around jewelry currently? Who would be your customers? Is this drop shipping, or where do you get the jewels and how do you sell them?
