I had read something from Matt Furey that Ted Thomas recommended writing the bullets for promoting a book before actually writing the book itself. I believe John worked writing copy for books. . .any insights on this? BTW, yes I did watch the write a book in 14 days video clip. Nice.

Saw an email for the mastermind group for working on our business. Is there an option for continued coaching on our copywriting? I’d love a few more weeks of tweaks and feedback from Jimbo Curley! Thanks.
-
Hi Tanya: There usually is an option for continued coaching. You will hear more about it toward the end of the course. It also depends on Jim’s availability. Stay tuned. I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

Thanks, Virginia! Fingers crossed … 🙂

Can I just say, that I too am interested in continued coaching. Mark Landstrom has been inspirational. Thank you John and Stan for assigning me to Mark’s group. I am sure all the mentors are equally good, which just goes to show how great SWS actually is. Thank you Mark.

Hi Bridget,
I’d love to bring into the SWS Grad program! I’ll let Stan tell you more about it!
Enjoy Ireland. It sounds like magic…

Stan is planning to send out an email Mon or Tues about this, so stay tuned.

I agree with Bridget (I am also one of Mark’s students)! This course is absolutely high level and the instructors are top notch.
I was wondering the same – what happens if one does not finishes all the lessons in time and if there will be continued coaching if one so wishes 🙂
-
Just wanted to add my chorus of praise for Mark L, he’s been an outstanding teacher and guide, I’ve gotten so much from his advice and it’s really added an extra dimension to the SWS course.
I’ll be keen to get Stan’s email about the extra coaching!
Sorry Mark, no rest time for you yet!!
-
Hi Tanja: You still have a week and a half left and should do your best to finish. The continuing coaching is designed for those who finish and want some more help. You could probably design a program to help you finish the course, but it would cost extra so you should try to do as much as you can in the time remaining.
-
Hi,Tanja, I’ll be glad to coach you after the SWS as your SWS Grad coach.
We’ll take to a WHOLE new level!
Mark L – your SWS Closer Instructor-
Thanks, Mark! Love it. Hope you got my message. 🙂

Hi Virginia, I have just visited the Bonus Simple Writing System Content and it says we have immediate access to the videos from the first half of Action Seminar 3. There are two I would really like to see, From Planning to Doing and Stan Dahl: Creating and Implementing your Personal Action Plan. However, when I follow the links, it takes me to a…Read more

Hi Bridget: “From Planning to Doing” is just a page that lists all the videos from AS 3. That was the theme of Action Seminar 3. I re-posted Stan’s videos. I don’t know what happened there, but it is fixed now.
-
Thank you. Just watched Stan’s, creating and implementing your personal action plan. So good… I’m usually an organised person and completely agree. In my current job, I don’t think about step 2 until step 1 is done. But, now I’m looking to go freelance, I find I’m chasing after everything and get so frustrated and confused. I read an article,…Read more

Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on using websites like Copify to get freelance work to start out with? Could it be a good way to get your feet wet or has anyone had any actual experience with a similar service?
Thanks in advance!

IRA Investments: Real Estate
Real Estate is a popular investment for IRA’s. This is probably because of the high growth/income potential and the fact that people understand it better than, say, oil and gas leases (with the possible exception being those who live in Houston). There are many ways...
Alternative Investments for Your IRA
The investment options for an IRA are almost unlimited. Just stay away from insurance policies and collectibles, and abide by the law against self-dealing. Of course, you should not use any investment that is already tax-advantaged, like tax-exempt securities,...
Retirement Planning Basics
This is the first in a series of articles that will discuss retirement plan options that are available to the self-employed person or small business owner. In this article I will explain some of the basic principles that underlie intelligent retirement planning. There is no rocket science here, I just want to be sure that everyone starts off on the same page.

Don’t Make These Mistakes in Managing your Self-Directed IRA
If you have a self-directed IRA, your investment choices are not restricted to just stocks, bonds, and CD’s. You can diversify your portfolio, reduce your risk and possibly increase your return by incorporating such investments as gold, real estate, ...
Hi Robert: John is on vacation with his family for a few days, so he won’t be able to get to this until some time next week. Just so you don’t think you’re being ignored.
No worries. . . and next week is a high stress one for me, so if/when I don’t reply, ditto the “not being ignored.”
oh, it’s Ted Nicholas, not Thomas. 🙂
Copywriter Joe Sugarman works this way too! (bullets first1)
Make sense. Seems a good way for an author to get clear on the benefits of their book, define the chapters, etc.
Lots of biz authors work this way. You figure out how to sell the book first to a targeted audience, which gives you the elements that will fill the book with what people want. As opposed to writing a book, and then trying to figure out how to make it appealing to an audience.
I recall talking to Ted about this. Brilliant dude. You can become a…Read more
