So far I’ve read “Copywriting 101” by Copyblogger and now I read “Kick-Ass Copywriting” by JC and “the content marketing handbook” by…Read more

Hello all,
My name is Evan. I’m a former composer, stonemason and bartender. I’ve been doing freelance copywriting since last October. I’ve been very lucky to work with some amazing copywriters and marketing teams in that time.
I’m currently trying to get an in-house job with a Delray finpub. I reached out to David for advice on this…Read more

IRA Investments: Real Estate
Real Estate is a popular investment for IRA’s. This is probably because of the high growth/income potential and the fact that people understand it better than, say, oil and gas leases (with the possible exception being those who live in Houston). There are many ways...
Alternative Investments for Your IRA
The investment options for an IRA are almost unlimited. Just stay away from insurance policies and collectibles, and abide by the law against self-dealing. Of course, you should not use any investment that is already tax-advantaged, like tax-exempt securities,...
Retirement Planning Basics
This is the first in a series of articles that will discuss retirement plan options that are available to the self-employed person or small business owner. Don’t Make These Mistakes in Managing your Self-Directed IRA

Hi Nils,
Thanks for posting. Not sure I’m following your thoughts 🙂
Who is this newsletter for?
What problems to they have that reading this newsletter will help them solve?
How motivated are people to solve these problems? Will they invest time and money?
Thanks for your response, Stan (I appreciate it)!
So, the newsletter is for people between 14 and 20. These people have tried a lot with goal setting and planning, but have always failed and suffered “setbacks” because their system on which everything is built is not stable.
Also, this newsletter reflects one of the problems I have had in the…Read more
Hi Nils: I think you should re-think your market. How many people between 14 and 20 have done much planning beyond getting their homework done for the next day, or how to get that pretty girl (handsome guy) to like me? It seems like these topics would go way over their heads. Also, how many kids between 14 and 20 can actually buy your products?
Ok so you would say despite I write to young people (14-20) that are already into Personal Development etc., I shouldn’t write about this topic, because it is irrelevant? Or how would you put this?
I am not telling you what you should or should not do. I would just say that that market may be very small. I could be wrong, though. Just something to think about. I have never heard of anyone targeting such a young audience.
If you are already selling to this audience, then please disregard what I am saying. But make sure they are willing…Read more
Alright, thank you Virginia.
That’s my 1st Newsletter and I don’t have anything with a pricetack on, yet…
Maybe my specification was a bit vague and the audience is bigger…
But thank you for your clues and time.
