Why does John start with researching the market and not with the prospect or product?
And then would the prospect of product be best to research next after the market?

How much in demand are people that specialize is sales funnel copywriting versus writing online sales letters and video sales letters?
-
See my answer below. There is demand for all of them.
Looking for magical shortcuts is rarely the best use of anyone’s time. Yes, you could buy a lottery ticket, win $10,000,000, and that would likely solve all money issues for a good long time.

Hey there, I’m an email copywriter and I need a little insight into the idea of “show don’t tell”.
I’m repeatedly corrected on this by my copy chief and I’m still not really “getting it”. I want to fully understand this concept so I can correct myself BEFORE it reaches the desk of my copy chief for review.
Thanks!

Usually you start with some idea of what type of product you want to sell. Otherwise you wouldn’t know what market to research. You research the market to find out if it is large enough to support sales. If not, then there is no need to do any more research on either the product or prospect. If the market is large enough you develop your avatar s…Read more
