Hi, I’m Francisco but everyone calls me Frank. I am from Austin, TX. I am a retired military officer with almost 30 years in service so I started my entrepreneurial journey just about 9 years ago. I have been a real estate investor but now I am shifting gears to use my real estate license for real estate sales, mainly for new homes. We have…Read more

Hello all,
Joined the MRIC a few mins ago.
I’m from Scotland and I’m going back through my kick ass and freelance courses to get back in the freelance game (reached the end of the road in the corporate world now – it’s been useful and successful but it’s not the future I want).
Over the last week I’ve read kick ass 3 times and listened to…Read more

Welcome, Paul!
When did you purchase the Kickass Copywriting Secrets?
-
Hey Virginia,
It was quite a few years ago. Estimated around early 2010 I’d say.
Couple of bonuses were around writing for the Web and an interview with harlan kikstein ( not sure if these are in the current version).
How would you say SWS 2.0 compares in terms of info and help of application?
Paul
-
The basic info hasn’t changed. They made some adjustments based on student questions, but if you purchased the SWS 1.0 there is no reason to purchase 2.0
-
Nice one Virginia,
I do like the structured feel of SWS 2.0 and the activities as well as the breakdown/description of adds.
The continual working through Kick Ass just now is great as I can feel the key messages around salesmanship sinking in which sits underneath lead ins and bullets and offers which makes them all work.

Stan or Virginia:
What keywords are prospects using when searching for copywriters?
-
If you’re hoping to outbid everyone on the term “copywriter” to get clicks to your website, you’re probably in for a long and expensive round of disappointment.
The flip side of that, I wouldn’t want to work for someone who hired a copywriter by typing the word into Google. They would probably know so little about working with writer, direct…Read more

Stan:
What are prospects exactly looking for when hiring copywriters? As far as skills, qualities, and everything else?
-
Hi Sean,
Every person who’s hired a copywriter would answer this a little differently.
Think of selling a copywriter the same way you’d link about selling anything.
What problem(s) does a person have that can be solved by hiring a copywriter?
We are looking for people who can solve those problem for us.
Without — and I can’t emphasis this…Read more
