Hey all – really excited to be here.
I read John’s post on Facebook and skipped every juicy bit of scintillating copy until I’d put in my card details and hit ‘BUY’.
In response to “Letting us know who you are and how we can help you…” on the ‘Welcome to the club’ page…
I’ve been studying this direct response stuff for a few years…Read more

Hi Scott: Welcome to the Club!
The only one that can answer that question is you, and the best way to do that is to pick something and jump in.
If I were in your shoes I would start with Affiliate Marketing. Find an already-successful product in a niche you enjoy (ignore those who tell you that you don’t have to have any personal interest…Read more

Another thing. No matter what you do, build an email list. This will be an asset that you can use to make continuing sales. And, if you pick a niche you enjoy, you may decide to continue selling other people’s products, and you don’t have to worry about advertising platform rules since you have your own community of email subscribers.

Hi Guys,
I would appreciate feedback from one of your pros on this piece of copy I’ve written. How can I improve it?
Thanks!

Hi Hamoon: You can get John and Stan to review your copy. Just apply for a hot seat (top link under “Hot Seats & Consulting” in the right column ).
-
Hi Virginia… wow that’s pretty awesome! (And scary). Haha. I’ll give it a shot. What an opportunity to learn! Thanks!

Cool. One thing you can do, if you haven’t yet, is to go through the (free) Simple Writing System Express Course. There is a banner in the right column, and will give you additional insight into your client’s best prospect and his offer.
-
Hamoon, one thing I would suggest is to mention the cap of 20 people in the headline. If people know that there’s a limit to how many people will be accepted for this, it will create a sense of urgency to act quickly. I have some other thoughts about it, but of course you’ll do much better to have it reviewed by John or Stan! – Janet
