Agitate the problem:
How do I agitate the problem without repeating the problem? In one of the member calls, John told a member that he didn’t need to tell the prospect about their problem because they already know it.
How do I address the problem without repeating it?

This is more of an observation than question–but have noticed the material covered in the SWS is timeless.

Good morning,
I have been on lesson three for four days now. I read all the posts from prior classes, watched and re-watched the video and wrote an Elevator Chat and a USP. Is it okay to post here and get feedback?-
Yes, you can.

Ok, great! Brief background. I work two jobs: Federal Gov’t and a Realtor (referral only right now). I have a 5 yr plan with four main goals (don’t worry, I won’t go into details). Two of the goals are to increase real estate presence and begin copywriting so I can be independent. With that here is my lesson #3 for some critique.

Ok. The first thing you should do is let us know what your name is. I know what it is but won’t use it unless you introduce yourself.
You have 3 USP’s. You have the formula down, but you have to have one USP that speaks to your avatar. If you work with 3 different markets you will have to go through all the steps with each market (don’t…Read more

Ok. Awesome! Back to the drawing board to redefine who I want to target first. I will look into Ryan Fletcher as I have not heard of him.

Don’t agonize over this. Go back to step 2 and identify your best prospect. The one you like working with the best. Then create your USP to speak to him. If you later decide at some point in the future that this is not the prospect you want, or if you want to target others, you can. This is just to go through the steps and learn the process.…Read more

Updated:
I reviewed lesson #2 and the avatar I wrote to in the exercise was to potential buyers (renters afraid to buy for one reason or another). I will maintain that theme for #3.Who ARE you? My name is Brian Crane and I am at top producing Realtor in the Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, FL area
What do you do or sell? I serve potential…Read more-
P.S. I watched some of Ryan Fletcher videos. I am digesting it. He has a You Tube on copywriting for Realtors…John Carlton is mentioned as are some others.

That looks good, but try one that ends with “even though…” and gives the biggest obstacle that new homebuyers experience.
When you do that, post both of them together in your response. Thanks

Third try. The biggest fears, credit (many renters lost homes in the bubble) and down payment.
4. We turn renters into homebuyers and find a quality home more affordably even though you may not have enough for a down payment or perfect credit.
-
P.S. Virginia, listening to more Ryan this morning. He hits on many issues that resonate w/ me and why I came here to learn. I am taking the nuggets. Thank you for the recommendation.

John Carlton’s Best Ads: The Most Important Letter You’ll Ever Read
Finally, here is a great example of a completely "blind" letter. Nowhere in the entire four pages of copy is there a hint of what, exactly, you will find in the product. It's all tease. Like the little strumpet at the local watering hole giving you a big come-on......
The 4 Best Ways to Multiply Your Copywriting Success

The advice you’re referring to is for long-winded recitations of how the reader feels… those boring copy bursts where you’re saying “I know how you feel when you have writer’s block. You’re fatigued, you can’t sleep, you walk around in your PJs, bleary-eyed…” and on and on for several paragraphs.
My advice is simple: If someone reading (or…Read more
