Hey guys.
I’m Eric. Just purchased the SWS and Coaching course which starts next week.
My mission and or purpose is to become a hire gun to write copy. Thats it. I’m about a ‘P’ list writer making my way up the alphabet. We shall see. But glad to be here. -

Hey friends,
Do we have a resource or training on order forms?
If not, maybe John can rile up Justin Goff to give a training for us?
Thanks in advance,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,
There isn’t a specific training on order forms.
The reason for that is I’ve seen so many different formats work, and then the same one work less well on another site, that I just don’t have data to recommend one over the other.
We do better when the order form recaps the offer.
In my head, I’m writing the script I’d use if it was a…Read more

Hey @stand, thanks man.
I agree with you, 100%.
I’d love to see how you restructure the offers. It’d made for a great “before and after” of sorts.

Hey there! So I just purchased the Freelance Course!
Yet I cannot access “kick-ass copywriting secrets” and the “freelance course” online here? Can someone of the team add me? Thanks!
-
Anne has to do that. I sent her an email. This type of question is best addressed with a support ticket (www.MarketingRebelSupport.com)
-
Hi Tomass: In case you didn’t receive her email, Anne has given you access to the online Freelance Course and Kickass Copywriting Secrets.
-

hi MarketingRebels! : )
how are you? I’ve decided that my niche will be to help healers and coaches to increase revenue with copy, sales and marketing.
Question 1: Which BIG problems I can charge big time for exist in this niche?
Question 2: What is your tip & experience with going for those BIG assignments (&paychecks! ) – how would you go…Read more

reading what I wrote, I want to make super clear that I’m putting emphasis on providing the most VALUE to others! (as what I wrote might be misunderstood)… I also already have been a healer myself… that’s why this niche makes a lot of sense.

Hi Tomass:
The big problems in your niche have to be uncovered by you, using your experience (since you are a healer, their problems are probably similar to ones you have had) or by talking to members of your market, as well as online research (find places your market hangs out and see what they are complaining about). In other words, you have…Read more

John Carlton’s Best Ads: Hyper-Effective Cover Letters #1 — My All-Time Favorite Cover Letter
There are two keys to the following cover letter. First is the personalization in the subhead. That alone is a compelling way to engage the reader. Second, though, is a much more subtle tactic. It's disarming, clever, and hits directly at the...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Short, Old-As-Dirt “Nice Guy” Finishes First
Let's count the ''tricks" I pulled out of my bag for this ad: A take-away superscript. (Gone in 11 days.) Instant urgency. Long headline. A compelling "not what you expected" type of headline. This is self-defense ...and yet we're talking about old short guys in the...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: We Screwed Up Big Time
Here is a good example of a "lipstick" letter. The reference is to the old comedy routine of coming home with lipstick on your collar -- and obviously dire situation that would crush a normal man. But a top – notch salesmen should be able to talk his way out of...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: The “Piss Everyone Off and Then Apologize” Letter
Here is the letter I mention in “Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets” where the personalized headline enraged so many people. I was only trying for a “visceral” connection in the headline — you know, give people’s hot button about vulnerability a gentle rap. Get a reaction.
Boy, did it ever cause a reaction…

The Freelance Course

hi Eric! 🙂
Warm welcome!
Hi Eric:
Welcome to the Club and to SWS Coaching! Colin is a great teacher and I am sure you will enjoy the class and learn a lot. The lessons you learn in SWS can change the way you relate to everything in your life…not just copywriting. Kind of hard to explain but you will see what I mean.
Hey man, you’re in the right place. SWS changed my life (and paid for itself now 27 times over in just 18 months).
Welcome to the private elevator to the top.
Jimmy
Welcome Eric! You’re going to love SWS. Best course on copywriting (or marketing in general) I’ve ever taken. Worth every cent.
