Hi Everyone,
I’m writing now because up until now my sws study was going great but I hit a roadblock with the features and benefits section which I found to be challenging. Can anyone give me a clear and concise explanation… Thank you!

Hi Seb: To expand a bit on Mark’s example: A window air conditioner’s features/benefits might be:
1. 8,000 BTU motor/cools the area quickly and with less electricity
2. Runs on 110 power/you can plug it into the wall and don’t need a special outlet
3. Has a QuietKool (my invention) motor/it doesn’t wake you up at night when it turns on and…Read more
I look at it from how a thing makes the person feel. Safe, more attractive, less stressed… what does the thing do for them? I write out as many as I can. Definitely research the thing to find reviews from those exposing their feelings about the thing.
seb, i have a feature, function benefit spreadsheet I use, email me and i’ll send you a copy

Hi Seb: If you want to try it yourself, go ahead and post some feature/benefit combos and we can comment on them. That is the only way to find out if you really understand them.
