I’ve been watching the lessons on YouTube marketing which are quite interesting however some of the information is outdated. In particular, the google keyword tool is no longer available as a research tool unless I want to run a paid ad campaign.

The Hoth has a keyword tool you can use for free. We have a video about it here: https://1023.marketingrebelclub.com/lessons/how-to-use-hoth-keyword-planner/. Basically, just go to thehoth.com. You have to create a free account, then log in and under Tools in the top menu is “keyword research”. I think they give you the top 100 results.
