Hey guys, quick question. How would you go about writing bullets in your sales page, for physical products? I know that most techniques on bullet writing leverage some kind of curiosity… but when you sell a physical good (in my case red light earplugs against tinnitus) you can’t really do that (I think?) — because people expect to get every…Read more

Hey guys, my name is Chakir and I just joined the club. I run my own direct response ecommmerce business (physical goods only)… and my biggest challenge ATM is improving my customer’s AOV and LTV.
I sell red light earplugs to people who suffer from tinnitus, on the front-end, and need help figuring out what I can sell as upsell 1, 2 and 3……Read more

Hi Chakir,
Welcome to The Club.
I don’t know much about this market. I can give you some things that work in most markets.
Do they need more of these? Is there a reason to have one for the house (or kitchen and bedroom), the car, and the office?
What else do they need to make this product more effective? Or more convenient? Where do they k…Read more

Thank you very much! Do you guys also got something on writing the copy itself? I want to improve the way I write… and also the way I structure my video ads and advertorials. The structure part is where I struggle with the most, for some reason. A DR piece has so many different elements… and I’m not always sure what to put where. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome, Chakir.
I would add some sort of membership program to everything Stan suggested.
And I assume you already have some sort of “program” on how to reduce or reverse tinnitus. (If not, you probably should.)
As for writing copy, John’s Simple Writing System is great.
As is my A-List Copywriting course…Read more

Thank you David. Speaking of your course… you actually reminded me of something important! Yesterday or two days, while pumping some iron in the gym, I received an email from you… where you’re giving away all these resources for free, when someone joins your inner circle. I told myself that I would look further into it after getting home from…Read more

Hi Chakir: The Inner Circle offer is only good for a couple of days. In case you can’t find the email, this is what you have to do:
❶ >> Head to to this page: https://alistcopysecrets.com/david-deutsch-inner-circle/. <<. It has all the details about David's Inner Circle.
❷ Join.
❸ When you get your membership confirmation email, head to Marke…Read more

Yes, have bought the membership and have done all the above… but haven’t received the email with the following subjectline yet, “Here’s your David Deutsch’s Inner Circle login info…”

Hi Chakir: I don’t know if you sent in the ticket, but you have been added to all 3 programs. If you still haven’t received the welcome email, please send in a ticket about that.
I think the easiest way to access your programs is to click on “Your Stuff” in the top menu.

John Carlton’s Best Ads: The Accidental Discovery
Golf is one of those golden markets that is clearly targeted...and populated with people who have an irrational passion for the sport. They don't bat an eye when I address them as "golf nuts" (which I frequently do). They glorify in their passion. They are so...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: World Famous Street-Fighter Will Give You A FREE GUN
This piece has mailed as a letter and run as a magazine ad for over seven years. It's a prime example of ''in your face' muscle writing-- it literally asks you to find a large friend, and have him point the gun at you and squeeze the trigger. It's not a "nice" ad....
John Carlton’s Best Ads: A Special Notice
I always load up my ads with urgency. You never want to let your reader think she has the luxury to put the copy aside and think about the offer. World-class salesmen know that letting the prospect "think about it" will kill the sale. Here is an example of piling...
John Carlton’s Best Ads: Final Notice!
Another simple tactic to get extra readership out of an ad, without changing another word in the main copy. The "look" of the words "Final Notice" is important, too. It looks like a real stamp, and the ink is red. It is stamped off-center, so it appears to have been...
Hi, Chakir,
Two answers here.
One is to create a report (if you haven’t already) on non-physical ways to reduce or eliminate tinnitus, or on some aspects of tinnitus or hearing or “ear health” and then promote that with bullets.
The other is, for the physical product, to do more straightforward features/benefits bullets, but use some bullets…Read more
And that’s why you’re an A-list copyTHINKER. Thank you!
Would you sell the report on the front-end, solely? Or would you put it in as a bonus with the physical product? What’s best practice here… in your experience?
